INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz STALK&BARREL Handcrafted Canadian Whisky
  • 1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.75 oz honey sage syrup

Honey Sage Syrup

  • 200g filtered water
  • 300g honey
  • 15g fresh sage

DIRECTIONS

  1. Prepare the Honey Sage Syrup by adding all the ingredients into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Let the mixture cool, strain the syrup and discard the solids. 
  2. In the cocktail shaker, add all ingredients.
  3. Fill with ice and shake hard for 8 seconds.
  4. Double-strain the cocktail into a cocktail glass using a Hawthorne and a fine strainer.
  5. Garnish with a fresh sage leaf.
